Do you LOVE Jane Austen?
Do you like to win prizes?
Have you recently done anything to incur the censure of
Lady Catherine de Bourgh?
If so, then my birthday give away is for you.
It is this little soldered charm, with my version of Jane (after Cassandra’s portrait) on one side…..
…and the phrase ‘Obstinate Headstrong Girl’ on the other.

Thank you so much for creating a blog for those of us who LOVE Jane Austin! You are AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteOooooo!!! PICK ME!!! Lady Catherine is perpetually vexed by me and my poor behavior.
ReplyDeletePick me, pick me!!! Lynnae, this is really beautiful work--you're SO accomplished! ;-)
ReplyDelete(When's the last time you went to England--you know Annike is just a few miles from Bath...)
OK...if you DON'T fix it so I win...you'll have to teach me to make my owm. Maybe I'll show you how to do this cool mixed media I've been doing...fair trade? Then yo could conduct a really legal contest! Love ya
ReplyDeleteI'm the hugest Jane Austen fan ever!!! I love that second necklace!!! WOWWWWWWWWWW!!! I hope I win!!!
ReplyDeleteA few notes...No Mom, I won't rig the contest. If you don't win it fair and square then I'll teach you and we'll make some together.
ReplyDeleteKooky queen, and anyone else who is wondering, Those are two sides of the same necklace so you can show whichever side you want.
Oma, my friend! I've never been to England, so Annike better watch out or I'll show up on her doorstep one day!

ReplyDeleteI found your blog via Ramona's blog. I absolutely love it, so girly and sweet. I am already making plans of where I can wear the pennant - how's that for positive thinking.
ReplyDeleteHi sweetie! I saw your post about my stuff. Thank you very much. There were even 3 other adventurous souls who made comments. I visited all their amazing blogs and even entered a few contests and made my list for the Everything Austen Challenge. But now when I go to my page their photo icons are gone and so is yours. Is it poor blog manners to go looking at just anyone's blog?
ReplyDeleteWhat movie should I buy for my birthday today...something Austen. And why didn't I choose to read a book that's current about Austen? So far I've only read Austenland, Mr. Darcy's Diary, and The Jane Austen Book Club. Any recommendations?
